Reset Epson L3160 Printer

While using a printer for operations like printing, scanning, copying, or faxing, there are many issues encountered by the users. Almost all the printer problems are easy to resolve. The following section explains how to reset the Epson L3160 printer settings to default.

  • First, turn on your Epson L3160 printer if it is turned off.
  • Next, check if the printer’s home screen is displayed. If not, open it by pressing the Home button available on the printer’s control panel.
  • Now, from the home screen of your printer, choose the option named Settings to initiate the reset process.
  • To confirm the selected option, press the OK button.
  • Now, scroll down the Settings screen of your printer.
  • Look for the option named Restore Default Settings. Once you find this option, tap on it.
  • Press the OK button.

Now, you can find the options under the Restore Default Settings section. The options are Network Settings, Copy Settings, Scan Settings, and Clear All Data and Settings.

  • To restore your printer’s network settings, select the Network Settings option. If you want to reset the printer’s copy settings, then choose Copy Settings. Similarly, to clear the scan settings, select the respective option named Scan Settings.
  • To restore all the settings, such as the network, scan and copy settings to their defaults, select the Clear All Data and Settings option.
  • After choosing the option, press the OK button.
  • Now, the restore process will be initiated, and its status will be displayed on the screen.
  • Once the printer settings are restored, reconfigure them from the beginning.
