Changing the Default Scan Job Settings:

Do follow the below steps to view or change the default scan job settings in Windows.

  • Click Windows Start and select EPSON Software –> Event Manager
  • Open the Scanner and select your printer.
  • Click Make Job Settings.
  • Open the Edit Job Settings option from the drop-down list and select the Scan Job Settings you want to change.
  • Change the required settings.
  • Click OK –> Close.

Download Epson Scan 2:

  • Go to the Epson official website.
  • Enter your Product Name in the box and click Search.
  • Click on your Epson ET-4750 printer from the product search results.
  • Choose OS and click GO.
  • Under Drivers, click Download next to Scanner Drivers and Epson Scan 2.
  • Now, the Epson Scan 2 utility will be downloaded.

Double-Sided Scanning Using Epson Scan 2:

  • Before you start, turn on the printer.
  • Check whether the printer and the computer are connected to the same network.
  • Open the printer’s scanner lid and place the document.
  • On your computer, click Windows Start and select EPSON –> Epson Scan 2.

  • Select EPSON ET-4750 from the Scanner drop-down menu.
  • Choose Default Setting from the Scanner settings drop-down menu.
  • Under the Main Settings tab, select Auto-Detect for the Document Source.
  • Select Document Size that matches the size of your original document.
  • Choose the required Image Type –> Resolution you want to use for scanning.
  • Tick the box near Add or edit pages after scanning. This helps you to scan both sides of the document at the same time.
  • Click the Preview button.
  • Click the Advanced Settings tab and then alter the required settings.
  • Adjust or modify the brightness, gamma, unsharp mask, descreening, edge fill, dull image output, color enhance, auto-area segmentation and text enhancement options, if required.
  • Select PDF in the Image Format setting.
  • Enter the filename for your scanned document in the File Name field.
  • Choose a location from the Folder drop-down menu (where you want to save the scanned file).
  • Click Scan.
  • A pop-up window will appear. Now, open the printer’s scanner lid and turn the document to the other side.
  • Again, click Scan.
  • The Epson ET-4750 printer will simultaneously scan your original double-sided document and save the scanned file in the selected folder.
