  • Using the USB cable (temporarily)

Both these methods of Wi-Fi setup are simple and easy to perform. To know more, continue reading this page.

Using WPS

Many users prefer the wireless setup using WPS-PUSH. To use this method, you need a wireless router with a WPS-PUSH button.

  • Turn on your Canon PIXMA Pro 100 printer if it is turned off.
  • Locate and hold down the Wi-Fi button on your printer’s control panel for a few seconds.
  • Now, you can see the Wi-Fi light on your panel flashing in blue.
  • Locate the WPS button on your wireless router and press it.
  • Within a few seconds, the printer will detect the available wireless network and connect to it.
  • Once your Pro 100 printer is connected to the wireless network, the Wi-Fi light on its panel becomes stable.
  • You can also check and confirm whether your printer is connected to the active network connection by printing the network settings page. To do so:
  • Check if the paper tray of your printer has enough paper. If not, load sufficient paper into it.
  • Now, hold down the Resume/Cancel button on the printer’s control panel for a few seconds.
  • Within a few seconds, the Power light will start to flash.
  • Count the number of flashes.
  • Release the Resume/Cancel button after the light flashes six times.
  • Connect your desktop or laptop to the same wireless network.
  • Install the printer driver on your computer to complete the Canon Pro 100 wireless setup.
