Error code 1000 – Flashes 2 times

Cause:

If your printer runs out of paper / if the disk tray isn’t attached / if the paper doesn’t feed.

Solution:

  • Load paper into the cassette or the manual feed tray.
  • Hit the Resume/Cancel button on your printer.

Error code 1600 – Flashes four times

Cause:

The ink tank is missing / ink tank is not installed correctly / empty ink tank.

Solution:

  • Install the ink tank properly.
  • Replace the ink tank if it has run out of ink.

Error code 1250 – Flashes thrice

Cause:

If the paper output tray is closed / feed slot cover is kept open / manual feed tray is positioned in the paper jam clearing position / cannot print on the printable disc / paper jam.

Solution:

  • Open the paper output tray if it is closed. Once done, the printer will resume printing.
  • Close the feed slot cover in case it is kept open. Press the Resume/Cancel button and wait for the printer to resume printing.
  • Close the rear tray if it is open before placing paper on the manual feed tray. Press the Resume/Cancel button and then load the paper.
  • Remove the paper from the manual feed tray when starting to print on the printable disc. Tap the Resume/Cancel button on the printer.

Error code 1401 – Flashes five times

Cause:

If the print head is not installed / defective.

Solution:

  • Remove the print head and reinstall it.
  • If the error persists, the print head may be damaged or defective.
