CANON PIXMA TR4720 WIFI SETUP

If you wish to connect your printer to the computer, you can use the wireless setup method. By following the below instructions, you can complete the Canon Pixma TR4720 printer’s wireless setup.

WIRELESS SETUP DURING INSTALLATION

If you are connecting your printer to the computer for the first time, make sure to download the printer driver on your computer. Follow the below instructions to finish the wireless setup.

Select The Wifi Connection Option
  • Make sure to complete the hardware setup of your printer.
  • Ensure to turn on your printer.
  • After completing the driver download on your computer, open the executable file and start the installation process.
  • In the welcome window, click Start Setup.
  • Next, follow the on-screen instructions and click the Next button.
  • Click Yes in the License Agreement window to accept the END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT.
  • Click Agree or Do not Agree on the information request screen.
  • Now, perform the on-screen prompts and select the Wi-Fi connection option in the Connection Method window.
  • Click on the Connect button.
  • Now, the printer will connect to the Wi-Fi network.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the installation.

WIRELESS SETUP USING THE PRINTER CONTROL PANEL

Manual Connect Option
  • First, go to the printer control panel and press the Setup button.
  • Choose the Wi-Fi setup option by pressing OK on the printer control panel.
  • Hit the right-arrow button until you see the Manual connect option on the printer screen.
  • Next, press the OK button.
  • Now, the printer will start to search the nearby wireless networks.
  • Next, select your wireless network and press the OK button.
  • Enter your network’s password and hit OK on the printer control panel.
  • Wait until your printer connects to your network.

  • When the Connected message appears on the printer’s screen, press OK.
  • If the Wi-Fi network connection fails, repeat the procedure and establish the connection.
  • On your computer, open the Settings window.
  • Select the Devices option from the list.
  • Next, choose the Printers & scanners section from the left panel on the screen.
  • Click Add a printer or scanner.
  • Choose the printer from the list and click Add device button.
  • Next, choose your device name and click on the Manage button to print a test page on your printer.
