  • Remove all the protective tapes from the printer and its components.

  • Open the front cover gently. Hold the green handle of the drum and pull the drum unit out of the printer.
  • Turn the green lock lever anticlockwise until it locks in the release position. Lift the front of your drum by holding the green handles and remove them from your printer. Make sure to hold only onto the green handles of the drum and do not touch the drum unit.
  • Take out the new drum unit, unpack it, and remove its protective tapes.
  • Pull out the toner cartridge from the old drum unit one by one and reinsert all the toner cartridges one by one into the new drum unit.
  • Slide the drum unit into the printer gently until it stops at the green lock lever and turn the green lock lever in a clockwise direction until it locks in its position.
  • Push the drum unit into its place by using the green handle.
  • Close your printer’s front cover.

  • Pull out the paper tray completely out of your printer.
  • Take out the jammed papers gently out of the tray.
  • Whenever you load paper into the tray, make sure to fan and align them properly. Fit the paper guides against your loaded paper. It can surely prevent paper jams to some extent.
